DESCRIPTION

The Prestige 620S combines the sleek lines and sporty character of a coupé motor yacht with the space, comfort and versatility of a flybridge yacht. Designed by Garroni Design together with the Prestige design team, the 620S was conceived around a simple but highly successful idea: to offer the best of both worlds. Equinox 8 is a fine example of this concept, offering generous accommodation and living spaces while remaining a yacht that can be comfortably handled by two people.

Stepping aboard, the spacious aft deck immediately becomes one of the yacht’s main living areas. There is ample seating around the aft dining table, creating a natural place for meals and socialising, with the flybridge above providing an additional outdoor area. The wide side decks make moving around the yacht easy and safe, while the foredeck offers yet another place to enjoy life on board, with a comfortable seating area, bimini and sunbathing space.

The aft deck connects directly with the main salon through the wide sliding glass doors. This creates a particularly pleasant connection between the indoor and outdoor areas and allows the salon, aft deck and galley to function as one large social space. The galley is positioned centrally on the main deck, between the aft deck and salon, an arrangement that works exceptionally well when entertaining. The chef remains part of the conversation while having easy access to both dining areas.

Further forward, the main salon offers two separate seating areas together with a dining table. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and give the interior an open and spacious character. The lower helm station is positioned forward, providing excellent visibility and a comfortable alternative to the flybridge helm.

One of the 620S’s defining features is the electrically operated sliding roof above the forward section of the salon and helm. With the roof open, the character of the yacht changes completely, bringing the feeling of an open sports yacht into the main living area while retaining the protection and comfort of a conventional enclosed motor yacht when required. Below deck, the accommodation is particularly impressive for a yacht of this size. The full-beam owner's suite is positioned amidships and offers an island berth, generous storage and large hull-side windows. The en-suite bathroom provides further privacy and comfort.

Forward, the VIP cabin features another centrally positioned island berth and its own en-suite bathroom. Its size and finish make it feel more like a second owner's suite than a conventional guest cabin. A third guest cabin provides additional sleeping accommodation, while a separate bathroom serves the remaining guests.

At the stern, additional crew accommodation provides further flexibility for longer cruises.

Equinox 8 is powered by twin Volvo Penta engines and benefits from a complete rebuild of both engines carried out by an authorised Volvo Penta dealer. She is also exceptionally well equipped for comfortable cruising, including a Seakeeper stabilisation system and a hydraulic Hi-Lo bathing platform.

The combination of generous accommodation, multiple outdoor living areas, a practical main-deck layout and the distinctive coupé profile makes the Prestige 620S particularly versatile. 

Equinox 8 is equally suited to relaxed days at anchor, entertaining family and friends or longer cruising along the Adriatic coast. Despite her generous 19.5-metre overall length, the layout and propulsion system make her remarkably manageable for an owner-operator couple.
