Access to Jelena is via the large hydraulic passerelle, which not only provides easy and comfortable boarding but also doubles as a crane for lifting the tender. From here, you step onto the exceptionally large bathing platform, finished in teak and offering plenty of space for swimming, relaxing and handling the tender. To port, a teak-laid passage leads directly into the cockpit.

The cockpit is a generous and very practical outdoor living space, with a full-width aft seating area providing a comfortable place for al fresco dining and spending time together. The teak continues throughout the cockpit, creating a warm and well-finished outdoor area. A large hatch in the cockpit floor provides access to the engine room, where the two very well-maintained Volvo Penta 435 hp engines are installed. These engines have an excellent reputation for their robust construction and proven reliability.

The combination of shaft drive and the centrally positioned engines gives Jelena a particularly solid and reassuring feel underway, including in more challenging conditions. When required, the Phantom 40 is capable of impressive speeds, while she is equally well suited to relaxed cruising at around 8 knots, where the Volvo Penta engines are notably economical on fuel. This versatility makes her equally enjoyable for a quick coastal run or a longer, more relaxed passage.

From the cockpit, the sliding door opens into the bright and welcoming saloon. The interior combines generous seating with excellent visibility and a practical layout. To starboard is the lower helm station, giving the skipper a comfortable driving position with all essential navigation and engine controls close at hand. To port, a well-equipped galley is positioned separately from the main seating area, keeping cooking and preparation conveniently out of the way while remaining easily accessible. At the same time, its open position keeps the galley connected to the saloon, allowing whoever is preparing a meal to remain part of the conversation and social atmosphere on board.

Further forward, the accommodation is arranged around two cabins. The master cabin in the bow features a generous island double berth, ample storage and its own en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The guest cabin is located to starboard and offers twin berths, which can be converted into a double when required. It has access to the second bathroom, which also serves as the day head.

The flybridge is reached from the cockpit and is one of the key features of the Phantom 40. It provides an excellent elevated helm position with clear visibility, together with generous seating and a large social area. The seating around the table can also be converted into a spacious sunbathing area, while the additional forward seating provides another comfortable place to relax and enjoy the views.

The overall layout of the Phantom 40 makes particularly good use of her 40-foot platform. There are generous outdoor spaces for enjoying the water, while the two-cabin interior provides comfortable accommodation for longer stays on board. It is a layout that works equally well for relaxed day boating with family and friends or for longer cruising.
