BROKER'S COMMENT

"Upon stepping aboard 'Just Joy,' I immediately recognized the signs of meticulous care and maintenance, a testament to her (almost) single-owner history. Unlike typical charter catamarans, this Lagoon 39 has been exclusively privately used, reflecting the high standards of her discerning owner.

Her rare three-cabin owner layout sets her apart, featuring an entire port hull dedicated to the owner. This includes a spacious aft bed and an ensuite bathroom in the bow, offering unparalleled comfort and privacy.

'Just Joy' has been continually updated and comes with an extensive list of features and equipment, such as a new Highfield tender, an extended inventory, both summer and winter cockpit enclosures, copper-coated hulls, and much more.

This Lagoon 39 presents a unique opportunity to acquire a vessel in near-new condition, perfect for single-handed sailing. With its ideal general arrangement, it offers exceptional comfort and privacy for both the owner and guests."

OWNER'S COMMENT

"For many years, I searched for a Lagoon 39 owner's version in mint condition. When 'Just Joy' came on the market last year, I immediately knew she was the one for me. Upon inspection, she proved to be in the pristine condition I expected, and the deal was quickly finalized. My plan was to cruise the Mediterranean from the fantastic Marina Porto Montenegro in the beautiful country of Montenegro.

Unfortunately, due to a change in my health, I must now part with this exceptional yacht. It is with great regret that I offer 'Just Joy' for sale. I am confident that she is the best Lagoon 39 on the market and that she will provide her new owners with incredible adventures."

DESCRIPTION

Welcome aboard 'Just Joy,' a 2013 Lagoon 39 that exemplifies luxury, comfort, and meticulous maintenance. This privately-owned, three-cabin owner's version catamaran is perfect for those seeking a pristine vessel for extended cruising.

Exterior

As you step aboard 'Just Joy,' you'll be greeted by a spacious and well-designed cockpit with ample seating arrangements and table for alfresco dining. Water access is easy from both hulls, perfect for enjoying the water while at anchor. The helm station offers excellent visibility and control while sailing, allowing the helmsman to remain in direct contact with the people in the cockpit. The cockpit features both summer and winter enclosures, ensuring comfort in all weather conditions. A new Highfield tender is included, ideal for shore excursions. The wide side decks provide easy access to the foredeck, where you'll find ample space for sunbathing and relaxing. The trampoline area is perfect for lounging and enjoying the sun.

Interior

Entering the saloon through the sliding glass doors, you're welcomed into a bright and airy space with panoramic windows that offer stunning views and plenty of natural light. The saloon is equipped with a comfortable seating area, a dining table, a chart table with navigation electronics, instruments and displays and a well-appointed galley.

Galley

The galley is located on the port side of the saloon and is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and ample storage space. This functional and stylish galley makes meal preparation a pleasure, whether at anchor or underway.

Cabins

'Just Joy' features a rare three-cabin layout, with the entire port hull dedicated to the owner. The owner's suite includes a large aft bed, sofa, desk, abundant storage, and a private ensuite bathroom located in the bow. This luxurious suite offers exceptional comfort and privacy.

The starboard hull houses two guest cabins. The aft cabin and forward cabin each feature a comfortable double bed. Both cabins have ample storage and share a well-appointed bathroom.

Sailing

'Just Joy' is outfitted with a robust sailing setup designed for performance and ease of handling. The yacht features a two-spreader aluminum Seldén mast with an air draft of 18.4 meters. The original sails are in good condition, having seen minimal use and the inventory consist of a square-topped Main of 44 m2, a self-tacking Jib of 38 m2 and a Code Zero of 68 m2.

The running rigging was reviewed in April 2023, with several halyards and sheets upgraded with new rope to ensure reliability and ease of use.

'Just Joy' is equipped with a Seldén bowsprit to accommodate the furling Code Zero, which utilizes a continuous furling line for efficient sail handling. Two dedicated Harken winches, located on the port and starboard sides, manage the sheets for the Code Zero.

The mainsail is slab reefed and easily handled with an adjustable Lazy Bag. Three continuous reefing lines are led back to the helm position and can be operated via a Harken two-speed electric winch. The double purchase main halyard is also managed by the Harken electric two-speed winch.

The self-tacking genoa is mounted on a drum furler, with a single sheet that can be managed by the electric winch. This electric winch is versatile and can also be used to trim, reef, and recover the genoa.

All sails are diligently removed and stored at the end of each sailing season, ensuring they remain in optimal condition.

Engines and Mechanical Details

'Just Joy' is powered by two YANMAR 3YM30E fresh water-cooled engines, each equipped with 120 Amp alternators. The starboard alternator was newly installed in July 2023. Both engines boast a comprehensive service history, with regular professional maintenance ensuring optimal performance. In March 2023, full out-of-water servicing was completed for both engines and sail drives. These YANMAR engines are known for their fuel efficiency, consuming approximately three liters per hour each while cruising at 6.5 knots. Each engine features a dedicated starting battery, with the option to link them if needed.

'Just Joy' is a beautifully maintained Lagoon 39, offering an ideal general arrangement for comfort, privacy, and ease of sailing. Whether you're planning to cruise the Mediterranean or embark on other adventures, 'Just Joy' is perfectly equipped and ready to provide unforgettable experiences.
