BROKER'S COMMENT
"THE ESCAPE is a Hanse 548 that has already proven herself beyond the marina. While the Hanse 548 offers everything one would expect from a modern, spacious and comfortable cruising yacht, THE ESCAPE has demonstrated that she is equally at home on long passages and extended offshore adventures.
Her generous cockpit provides an exceptional outdoor living space, with ample room for relaxing, dining and enjoying life at sea. One of the features we particularly appreciate is her GRP hardtop with sliding canvas roof. This is, in our view, a fantastic addition to a sailing yacht, transforming the cockpit into a versatile indoor/outdoor living area while providing shelter and shade when required.
Built and delivered in 2022 and already having completed extensive cruising, including Atlantic crossings and extensive sailing in the Caribbean, THE ESCAPE offers a particularly attractive combination: the benefits of a relatively young yacht with the confidence that comes from proven long-distance sailing experience.
A modern Hanse 548 with genuine cruising credentials — ready for her next adventure."

OWNER'S COMMENT
"THE ESCAPE is my first boat. Having always been drawn to the outdoors and adventure — from climbing mountains to surfing big waves — sailing felt like the natural next step. After completing my Yachtmaster Offshore course, I took delivery of THE ESCAPE and sailed her from the factory to Norway, my home country.
From there, she became the platform for an extraordinary adventure with family and friends. We sailed down the west coast of Europe and into the Mediterranean, visiting Ibiza, Sardinia, Corsica, Italy, Monaco and Spain, before heading further south to the Canary Islands and Cape Verde and then crossing the Atlantic to Barbados. We subsequently explored much of the Caribbean before spending the summer and hurricane season in Bocas del Toro, Panama.
Throughout her journey, THE ESCAPE has benefited from exceptional care and attention. A close friend and Yachtmaster has acted as captain whenever I have not been aboard, ensuring that the boat has always been professionally looked after, with her systems regularly serviced and maintained.
My original ambition was to continue west across the Pacific towards Australia and New Zealand and ultimately complete a circumnavigation. However, after almost 20 years of travelling extensively and wonderful seasons aboard THE ESCAPE, I have decided to put those plans on hold for a few years while I establish some roots ashore.
It therefore feels like the right time to pass THE ESCAPE on to someone who can continue the adventure and make full use of her exceptional world-cruising capabilities."

DESCRIPTION
THE ESCAPE is a 2022 Hanse 548, offering an impressive combination of contemporary sailing performance, generous living space and the comfort expected from a true cruising yacht. Her carefully considered three-cabin layout makes her particularly well suited to extended cruising, whether with family or friends.
Stepping aboard, the generous cockpit immediately stands out as one of the yacht’s defining features. The cockpit provides ample space for dining, relaxing and enjoying life at anchor or underway, while the GRP hardtop with sliding canvas roof adds an exceptional level of versatility. Open the canvas for a spacious outdoor environment or close it when shelter and shade are required, effectively creating a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space.
The helm stations are designed around easy handling and clear visibility, with the upgraded B&G navigation package including the two 12" displays providing a comprehensive navigation solution. Flexiteek has been fitted to the side decks, coachroof and helmsman seats, as well as throughout the cockpit, giving the exterior a clean and practical finish.
The interior is bright, spacious and contemporary, with Canadian Chestnut furniture creating a warm and refined atmosphere. The salon offers generous seating and dining space with an electrically adjustable table, complemented by the Entertainment Package covering the salon, cockpit and owner's cabin.
Forward is the spacious owner's suite, featuring a comfortable double berth and its own en-suite bathroom. The private owner's accommodation extends across the full forward section of the yacht, providing excellent comfort for longer stays aboard.
Aft, two further double cabins are located to port and starboard. Both cabins have their own en-suite bathrooms, providing an excellent level of privacy and comfort for guests. The port-side bathroom has the additional benefit of direct access from the salon, allowing it to function as a convenient day head without entering the guest cabin.
THE ESCAPE benefits from a comprehensive specification beyond the standard Hanse 548 equipment, including the Cruising Package, Performance Package, Comfort Package and Entertainment Package, as well as the upgraded B&G navigation system and extensive Flexiteek upgrades.
With her 2022 build year, proven long-distance sailing experience and exceptionally versatile accommodation, THE ESCAPE represents a compelling opportunity for anyone looking for a modern sailing yacht capable of combining comfortable life aboard with serious cruising ambitions.
