The gozzo is a classic Italian wooden fishing boat design originating from coastal regions of Italy, including Naples. These boats are renowned for their robust construction, seaworthiness, and versatility, making them well-suited for both fishing and leisure activities.

The contemporary Libeccio 8.5 WA is a walkaround day cruiser with ample seating and sunbathing capacity on deck, along with sleeping arrangements for two below deck. The reliable and powerful Yanmar 250 hp diesel is the largest available engine for the Mimi 8.5. The original owner ordered all possible options from the Mimi yard and used the boat occasionally, resulting in low engine hours.
